D-box Simracing market strategy

I have a 4250i 1,5 inch on my rig and I absolutely LOVE it…
The build quality and the haptic function are better than what is on the market today no discussion.
The 4250i 1,5 is spot on for road racingi if you have experience in Sim racing you will appreciate the movements combined with the subtle Haptics, but if you are going for that first motion sim you want it to move like crazy (to much for Simulating) afterwards you will learn that less is more.
But the 3inch and 6inch D-box systems are way over the price that the competitors are.
Would it not be better to bring the price of the 3 inch version closer to competion so that first time users can go wild in the beginning and also rally drivers would benefit from that.

Hey Sven!

Thank you for your comment. First of all, we are glad that you are enjoying your 4250i! There is a reason why it is by far our most popular system, as you said, it provides all the movement you need + the benefits of subtle haptics. As for the 3" and 6", our role at D-BOX is not to get people to buy the biggest system they can, our goal is to ensure we provide gamers with the right solution, for the right customers. A lot of the time, the 1.5" is the right answer, which is one of the main reason, it is significantly, cheaper that the others. Other reasons include production costs and design, which obviously drive the price up. You are right in saying that today, most people getting into motion seem to want to move as much as possible. However we are starting to see a shift in that fans are understanding that more movement is NOT necessarily better. D-BOX is always looking for ways to make its products more accessible to everyone and we truly appreciate you comment which justifies all these efforts we are doing.

Hopefully that answers your question!
